If you missed the previous Festival screenings of Queer as Folk's first episodes, don't despair! If you couldn't wait to get enough of it after seeing Thursday and Saturday's programs, you're in for a treat. We are pleased to present, for the first time in the United States, the special two hour "sequel" that has just made its broadcast premiere on British TV. Challenging and thoroughly entertaining, this provocative drama is unlike anything else you've ever seen.
| Nathan (Charlie Hunnam) |
The new season catches up to our three gay leads facing the challenges of finding themselves in the world, and still stumbling. Handsome young Nathan returns to Manchester from London, feeling himself slipping down the road of indulgence and selfishness. After a night out clubbing, Vince and Stuart, friends for sixteen years, bring a stranger home for a three-way and can no longer deny the sexual tension that has long existed between them. And someone is blackmailing wealthy Stuart, as the story takes a darker turn and Stuart sets out for revenge. Too hot for U.S. television and not available on home video - it won't be seen again here anytime soon - this is sure to be a big hit wherever it's shown.
