Belinda sings lead in an all-girl pop group. Ruggedly handsome
Juan Antonio is the loud-mouthed macho manager of a soccer team on a losing
streak (with sexy Liberto Rabal, star of AlmodÛvar's Live Flesh,
as his star player). Fate finds them at the same hotel, coincidentally
run by Belinda's meek but well-off fiancÈ, on the weekend Belinda
will give her last performance before settling down to her wifely duties.

When these two opposites accidentally crash heads on separate late-night
swims in the hotel pool, uno, dos, tres - they wake up in the hospital
after near-death experiences having switched bodies. The resulting
gender-bending hi-jinx are a hoot to watch and put the actors through some
serious changes. Belinda's butch swagger and skirt chasing habits (stealing
kisses with her gal pals and a tryst with Juan Antonio's ex-wife, a professional
psychic), and Juan Antonio's transformation into the softest, most understanding
soccer coach the world has ever known, are only half the fun. This
Spanish farce, a bed-hopping comedy of errors and an hilarious send-up
of machismo, is the perfect late-night finale for our Saturday line-up.
In Spanish with English subtitles.
