A giddy mix of high camp, black humor and murder mystery, this wacky film introduces us to one screechingly gay Spanish trio: Carlos, overweight and depressed, who works at a dry cleaners; Toni, a new age follower, who's a bartender in a karaoke bar for catatonic senior citizens; and Dani, a tour guide determined to sleep his way through all the men of Madrid.  Roommates and best friends, they find themselves behind on the rent and seek out a fourth to make ends meet.  They get more than they bargained for in Lucas, a gorgeous man of mystery and unknown sexual preferences.  In no short time, Lucas becomes the object of fantasy, seductionand jealous rivalry.  Thrown into the plot are a loopy lounge singer,  an aggressive maid, a suspicious female police detective and her dimwitted assistant.  This over-the-top comedy-thriller, chock-full of erotic intrigue, stylish flair and ridiculous plot twists, is made by the same team who directed last year's festival hit El grito en el cielo. In Spanish with English subtitles.
Directors FÈlix Sabroso and Dunia Ayaso will attend the screening and discuss the film with the audience.
